Membership Duration and Renewal
1.1 Membership of the Watford Chamber of Commerce ("the Chamber") is for a minimum period of twelve (12) months.
1.2 Membership shall automatically renew for an additional 12 month period unless written notice of resignation is received by the Chamber at least one (1) calendar month before the renewal date.
1.3 Membership fees are payable on an annual or monthly basis, as agreed upon at the time of joining. -
Resignation and Termination
2.1 A Member wishing to resign from the Chamber must provide written notice to that effect at least one (1) calendar month before the date on which its membership renewal is due.
2.2 Failure to provide such notice will result in the membership renewing for a further twelve (12) months, the Member will be liable for the associated membership fees.
2.3 The Chamber reserves the right to terminate a membership at its discretion if a Member breaches these Terms and Conditions or engages in conduct deemed detrimental to the interests of the Chamber. -
Payment Terms
3.1 Membership fees may be paid in full annually or by monthly direct debit over a twelve (12) month cycle.
3.2 If a Member paying by monthly direct debit cancels or fails to make payment prior to the twelfth (12th) month, the Member shall be liable to pay the remaining balance of the twelve-month period in full within fourteen (14) days of cancellation or non-payment.
3.3 Failure to settle outstanding payments may result in suspension or termination of membership benefits. -
Membership Benefits and Responsibilities
4.1 Members shall be entitled to participate in Chamber events, networking opportunities, training programmes, and other services as made available by the Chamber.
4.2 Membership benefits are non-transferable and may not be assigned to another party without the express written consent of the Chamber.
4.3 Members are expected to uphold the values and reputation of the Chamber and to conduct business ethically and professionally.
4.4 The Chamber regularly communicates with Members by email and telephone. We aim to only approach our Members with information which we believe could be of interest to them. This is an integral part of the Membership and by entering into Membership you agree to be contacted by the Chamber. The regular communication can be terminated at the Member’s request at any time.
4.5 The Chamber shall have no liability for any losses suffered by a Member as a result of using services offered by a fellow Member. The Chamber shall have no responsibility for advice given or services provided by third-parties even though such parties may have been introduced to the Member by the Chamber.

Amendments to Terms and Conditions
5.1 The Chamber reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Members will be notified of any changes in advance, and continued membership shall constitute acceptance of the revised terms. -
Governing Law
6.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
