Out of the office and onto the pitch

Local businesses are invited to enter the 5 of Herts Charity Football Tournament, a friendly 5-a-side event returning for its third year.

Taking place on Friday 3rd July 2026 at the beautiful Metropolitan Bushey sports field, with a 2pm meet up (3pm kickoff), this is a great opportunity for you and your team to connect outside the office, get the competitive juices flowing, and enjoy a fun challenge alongside the local business community.

5-a-side pitches have been marked out, referees will be ready, and the event organisers will be finalising the groups and fixtures by close of play on Thursday 2 July.

It’s set up to be a brilliant social occasion as well as a fun, non-serious, football. Food is included for players and additional food and drinks are available for purchase at Monty’s Bar which overlooks the pitches.

The event is being held in support of Home-Start Watford & Three Rivers, a wonderful local charity that works alongside families with young children, providing compassionate, confidential support during some of the most important and challenging years of family life.

Whether you’re a team of regulars or just keen to swap your laptops for shinpads for the afternoon, the focus is on bringing colleagues together, having fun and creating a memorable day away from the workplace, while supporting a brilliant local cause.

Teams are 5-a-side, squads can be up to 8 players. Entry is £20 per player, proceeds are donated to Home-Start.
