News for 21st December 2011 :: GREAT NEWS FOR WATFORD
The Croxley Rail link will support economic development in Watford and surrounding areas by providing excellent links to business and retail centres. We already hear that there is the possibility of a new school, shops and office accommodation in West Watford and the scheme will certainly help to regenerate this part of Watford.
The new rail link will bring more jobs to the town and will help us to attract even more businesses to relocate to Watford. It will also mean that shoppers and commuters from areas such as Moor Park, Northwood and Harrow will be able to travel to Watford without the need to drive into the town thereby reducing the demand on our roads and car parks.
Mayor Dorothy Thornhill and Richard Harrington MP for Watford have worked tirelessly to make the Croxley Rail Link a reality and they should both be congratulated for their efforts. If you run a business and have been thinking of relocating to Watford there has never been a better time than now so how about giving our Inward Investment Manager Sanjay Purohit a call at the Chamber on 01923 442442- all his help, guidance and advice comes free of charge.
