This year we have managed to get out two exceptional speakers for our December networking event Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran writer's of Shine on Harvey Moon, The New Statesman, Goodnight sweetheart and some of the episodes for Birds of a feather, thanks to Lynn Misner at The Watford Palace Theatre. It will also be a good fit as the cast of the Xmas panto at the Palace Theatre will be giving us a taster of Aladdin. This event is sponsored by The Royal Bank of Scotland

Launch of Watford Sustainable Travel Scheme Posted 5 Aug 2010
On July 22 Mayor Dorothy Thornhill launched Watford Commuter which is a scheme being run by the Chamber to encourage Watford businesses to adopt more environmentally sustainable travel practices. At the launch free bicycles were presented to the first two members of the scheme Chamber Members Clydesdale Bank and the Community Housing Trust.
