News for 9th November 2010 :: What could a graduate bring to your company?

Graduate Programmes are an incredibly cost effective way to get innovative and enthusiastic new blood into an organisation especially in this economic climate when resources are limited. What's more companies are able to take a student on and trial them without tax, NI and payroll implications. Companies pay Wenta for the resource who then pay the students directly leaving you hassle free.

Ambitious graduates are currently incredibly eager to secure placements that offer them the opportunity to demonstrate their skills and gain valuable work experience that will give them an advantage in the highly competitive job market. As a result it is the prefect time to take advantage of this skilled labour pool and obtain a graduate that can add real value to your company.

If you need extra manpower with a specific skill set and at a relatively low cost then the nationwide Step Enterprise Placement Scheme could be just the thing for you. Wenta, in its capacity as the Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire agent for Step, are actively recruiting Companies and Graduates to take part in this programme.  Placements last up to 12 weeks and are available to all small to medium sized companies and to 2008 - 2010 graduates from a British University. 24 graduates have been placed by Wenta this summer and to date of the 15 that have completed their placement 13 have been offered full-time positions within their host company.  So this scheme really does offer valuable work experience that can lead to a permanent position.

If you are interested in providing a placement under this scheme in your company, please contact education@wenta.co.uk or telephone 0845 371 0891. Further information can also be found at www.wenta.co.uk.
