Roger Gagan, Chief Executive A.C.I.B.

Roger previously worked for National Westminster Bank for over 33 years where he was Senior Manager of a number of Branches including Southgate, Perivale and Golders Green. He also spent three years in an audit role for the Bank working for Group Inspection. His last role with Nat West was Area Manager for North London in charge of 40 branches and over 400 hundred staff with a turnover in excess of £300million per annum.

He joined the Chamber ten years ago when they had less than 200 members. During the last few years this has increased to nearly 600 members which makes us one of the fastest growing Chambers in the country. The Chamber is also one of the busiest in the UK in volumes  of export documentation  work handled. During the last few years we have taken over the responsibility for running  Watford’s Sustainable Travel Scheme, Watford Business Against Crime and Inward Investment.

Roger represents the Chamber on numerous committees and boards and these include One Watford which is the Local Strategic Partnership, Watford For You, The Watford Business Advisory Group and the Peace Hospice Corporate Development Group .

In his spare time he follows Watford Football Club where he has been a season ticket holder for over 35 years , is Governor at St Pauls Church of England Primary School in Langleybury and Treasurer of the Watford Youth Orchestra.
